The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the semiconductor industry. The semiconductor industry is part of the larger electronics industry and offers many excellent jobs and career opportunities. The course requires no prior knowledge of electronics or semiconductors. You will learn electronic and semiconductor fundamentals, integrated circuits, the semiconductor manufacturing process, the semiconductor companies and markets, and the semiconductor equipment companies. The course concludes with a look at trends and critical issues.
