The big time switcheroo at NRG
Right now in room 2120 on MWF the following sections are offered in that
room:
at 8:00 am ECON 2301,
at 9:00 am ECON 2302,
at 10:00 am GEOG 1301,
at 11:00 am ECON 2301.
Because the 8 am class barely made this fall and the 9 am class was not
much better, the task force asks that the schedule be changed to a MW
schedule. The new schedule for that room would look like this:
at 7:45-9:00 am ECON 2301,
at 9:10-10:25 am GEOG 1301,
at 10:35-11:50 am ECON 2302.
Carol Hayman reported that the university she works with in Lima, Peru, is
open the second summer session. This means that she could pursue the
possibility of alternating her study abroad program between the first and
second summer session year to year with the Mexican study abroad program.
Ms. Hayman stated that she would not pursue this without a guarantee that
the ANTH 2302 would be offered if she did. James Sondgeroth, the task
force chair, said that he couldn't guarantee it but would tentatively OK
ANTH 2302 being offered if the program could be offered in the second summer
session. (The task force should vote on whether to approve this since I do
not think that I can make that offer unilaterally without the task force's
approval.--James Sondgeroth)

The meeting adjourned at 3:00 pm.
