Agenda Item: Call to Order
Discussion: The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Livingstone Kumassah

Agenda Item: Summer Schedule
Discussion: The following changes were discussed and agreed upon.
a) Micro Eco 1623 offered at RVS from 9:00 - 10:25 M-F was deleted because of low enrollment.
b) Macro Eco 1633 was added to be taught at NRG from 12:00 - 1:15 on M-H
c) Macro Eco 1633 at PIN was moved from 10:30 - 11:55 to 11: 12:15 M-H
d) ANT 2303 at NRG offered at NRG 7:30 a.m. was deleted because of low enrollment
e) ANT 2423 was moved from 11 weeks session to the second six weeks session.
GOG summer schedule remained the same
Agenda Item: SACS Evaluation
Discussion: It was agreed that the evaluations will be done through the ANT/ECO/GOG subcommittee
Agenda Item: Room Utilization
Discussion:
It was agreed that the room designation done by the Deans will hold.
Agenda Item: New Topics Course for ANT
Discussion:
Clint and Karen introduced a new topic course in Anthropology "Archaeological Field Methods" to be added
to Forensics under ANT 2433. This course will initially be taught as part of ACC's Summer in Mexico Program.
The task force voted to approve the addition of this course to the Anthropology offerings.

Faculty Teaching Assignment for the Summer
Discussion:
Since the Adjunct faculty Preference forms had not been received, from the Provost, it was
decided that no recommendation will be made. ANT/GOG shared with ECO some of the forms they
had generated for the Adjunct faculty to fill out with regard to qualifications should
prioritizing adjuncts become necessary.

Other Matters
Discussion:
In line with the college's push for innovative and creative ways of scheduling,
Al Slivnske ( in absentia) proposed combining tow or three Micro classes into one
class to be taught in the auditorium at NRG. This hall can accommodate over 100 students at a time.
The proposal was wholeheartedly endorsed by the task force. It was suggested that Al should follow up
with a memo to forwarded to the administrtion.
