TRAVIS COUNTY ADULT EDUCATION CONSORTIUM
Advisory Board
Per the Federal Adult Education and State Education Grant for the 2002-2003 School Year the Advisory board will be comprised of members from the consortium, representatives from other community organizations, the local workforce development board, business and industry, human service organizations, Adult Education staff, students, faculty and administration. Specific task forces will be formed in order to permit Advisory Board members to focus on specific areas in which they may have special expertise or interest. This committee will evaluate the program’s effectiveness and will assist in planning and in making mid-course corrections.

Sub-Committees
Sub-committees will be established for specific purposes in order to maximize the effectiveness of all members of the advisory group. The sub-committees will assure collaboration and quality of service throughout the program year by meeting at least quarterly, and participating in program planning and evaluation. In evaluating the program, specific program goals, objectives and implementation procedures will be analyzed at each quarterly meeting.
