Orientation for ESL Classes

The first step to enroll in class is to attend an orientation where you will be given a diagnostic test. After the orientation we will schedule a registration event where you will be assigned the class that best fits you.

Who Can Come

17 year-old students must also bring a copy of a withdrawal letter from the last school they attended. Students who have been home schooled or who have just moved to this area must obtain a withdrawal form from the school in their area where they would have been required to attend. Parental/guardian consent required. Please complete this form: Parent Consent Form

16 year-olds may attend with a copy of an official court order and a withdrawal letter from the last school they attended. F and B visas are NOT eligible for this program (please call 223-5123 if you have a question about your visa). No one under the age of 16 may attend these classes. Parental/guardian consent required: Parent Consent Form

Any person 18 years old or older living permanently in the U.S.

What to Bring

You must bring these documents to orientation (no admittance without required documents):

Everyone must bring:

A government-issued picture ID that includes your date of birth (NO SCHOOL IDS, NO COPIES of IDS, NO B or F VISAS)

A pen and pencil

Do not bring children. Children may not enter or wait outside. Please leave your children at home.

Accommodations

If you have a documented disability that could keep you from participating in Adult Education program in the way they are usually delivered, you might be entitled to receive accommodations.
