The first step to enroll in GED classes is to complete an online application.

You do not need a social security number in order to take adult education classes but you will need an alternate ID number.

Visit one of our offices at the Highland Business Center or Eastview Campus to get your alternate ID number

We are currently enrolling.

You can complete Step 1 online if:

You are 18 years or older

You have a Social Security Number or Alternate ID Number

At the end of the application, you will need to write down important information about Step 2: Assessment. Have a paper and pencil ready before beginning the application.

Ask a friend or family member to help you complete the application if you are not comfortable using a computer.

If you are under 18 or don't have a social security number, that's OK: visit our office and sign up in person.

If you do not have a Social Security Number or are under 18 years old, visit one of our Adult Education offices for help with Step 1: Application.
