The first step to enroll in class is to sign up to attend a placement test.

Who Can Sign Up

17 year-old students may attend with a copy of a withdrawal letter from the last school they attended and a signed Parent Consent Form.

A 16 year old MUST have a court order and an official ID. Withdrawal letter and parental consent documents are not required with a court order.

Any person 18 years old or older living permanently in the U.S. Those who do not have a high school diploma from the US or other country.

B and F visas are NOT eligible for this program. If you have a question about your visa, please call our front desk at (512) 223-5123.

16 year-old students may attend with a copy of an official court order and picture ID. Withdrawal letter and parental consent documents are not required with a court order.

No one under the age of 16 may attend these classes.

What to Bring

You must bring these documents to sign up for the placement test:

A government-issued picture ID that includes your date of birth (NO SCHOOL IDS, NO COPIES of IDS)

17 year-old students must also bring a copy of a withdrawal letter from the last school they attended. Students who have been home schooled or who have just moved to this area must obtain a withdrawal form from the school in their area where they would have been required to attend. Parental/guardian consent required. Please complete this form: Parent Consent Form

Accommodations

If you have a documented disability that could keep you from participating in Adult Education program in the way they are usually delivered, you might be entitled to receive accommodations.
