Your goal of a career in health sciences can lead to a wide range of high-demand jobs. But where your education begins is equally important. ACC’s Pre-Health Sciences Institute offers predefined paths to help you reach your educational and career goals.
The institute lets you learn in a community of students who share your interests and receive individualized attention from expert faculty. You may even finish college ahead of schedule.
Delivery of healthcare is a rapidly changing industry. With job opportunities in nursing and other health professions expected to increase, this is a great time to prepare for a career in the field.
The Pre-Health Sciences Institute was developed primarily for first-year college students who have little or no previous college credit. Other students may participate, but you must enroll in the full course load that’s scheduled each semester.
You’ll complete required courses in blocks that are tailored to your success. Many of the courses are specifically designed to introduce you to a healthcare profession before you enter a specific program. You’ll also have access to a dedicated pre-health sciences advisor and work with faculty who have years of experience in the industry.
The fall 2018 Pre-Health Sciences Institute will meet for classes at the Round Rock Campus. Institute courses will be completed in the sequence below.
