~~ANNOUNCEMENTS~~
- We need to hold another special election for President-Elect. I would like to be able to introduce this individual @ the March board meeting. I would be very happy if we could get at least three "willing volunteers" on the ballot. I am not going to lie to you, there will be meetings to go to, and a steep learning curve. But, if you are interested in how things "behind the scenes" work here at ACC, and you have the ability to be a leader for our Association (which by the way is 932 members strong and growing) then by all means, throw your hat into the arena!
- Prisca Baker, who was the committee leader for our fundraiser has had to step down due to personal reasons. If I could get someone to replace her I would really appreciate it! Also, unfortunately the "No Bake Bake Sale" idea was nixed. Something to do with not being a tax exempt charitable entity. So whomever takes over this committee will be starting from ground zero. I will wait for a week or so to see if anyone steps up to take command, otherwise, our fundraiser will be cancelled due to lack of interest. Of course I will check with our Parliamentarian Judy Green first.
- The date for the our March meeting is March 13th, which is during Spring Break. If you all would like to have a meeting in March on a different day, please let me know otherwise we will be meeting in April. Of course I will check with our Parliamentarian Judy Green first.
- The date for the Classified Appreciation Breakfast has been set for April 27th! Put it on your calendars!
- For our meeting in February our guest speaker will be our own Vicki West. She is the Compensation Manager here at ACC. She will be discussing the new "Gates" program. There will be a ten minute presentation followed by a 20 minute Q&A. If you didn't get a chance to go to any of the other presentations, then now is the time to bring your list of questions, and concerns!
