CEA - Classified Employees Association

Employees have automatic membership in the Classified Employees Association (CEA) by virtue of their ACC employment classification. There are nearly 700 members. The CEA ’s purpose is to promote the best working conditions for its members through the collaborative efforts of respect, communication and mutual decision-making among all sections of the College. The CEA has representation on college-wide committees through a shared governance process. The CEA governing body consists of elected officers: President, President Elect, Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Campus Representatives in accordance with the organization’s bylaws.

I think this new site is a very good improvement over the old site and hopefully will improve the ease of following ASC activities. Please let Catherine or I know of any suggested additions or improvements as we will continue to explore ways to improve the site in the future.​


ACC is now providing access to for all employees. is an online library of courses on software tools and skills.

A few of the benefits to using are:

  • New courses are added every week
  • Access to instructors’ exercise files let you follow along as you watch tutorials
  • Closed captioning and searchable, time coded transcripts for increased comprehension

  • Watch complete courses or individual tutorials as you need them
