WHAT IS THE ACCCEA?
Employees have automatic membership in the Classified Employees Association (ACCCEA) by virtue of their ACC employment classification. There are nearly 700 members. The ACCCEA ’s purpose is to promote the best working conditions for its members through the collaborative efforts of respect, communication and mutual decision-making among all sections of the College. The ACCCEA has representation on college-wide committees through a shared governance process. The ACCCEA governing body consists of elected officers: President, President Elect, Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Campus Representatives in accordance with the organization’s bylaws.

Next Classified Meeting, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 12:00-1:00pm, HBC, room 301.7 The Marketing Department will be there to talk with us about their next phase of the “I AM ACC” campaign. They are also looking for an ACC mascot. Make sure to come with your pearly whites a twinkling because they will be setting up to take pictures of us against the “I AM ACC” blue background too!  Please rsvp to cwiseman@austincc.edu. Supplies for Soldiers Community Outreach
