I.    Agenda Item:   Academic & Campus Affairs Council (ACAC) proposal to extend registration dates.                               

                                Several issues on extended registration were expressed by Tobin and discussed by the   

                                Association.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

                                The Association agreed that making online registration available before printed class

                                 schedules were available would make it harder for students without access to computers

                                 to register for classes they need.

                                Suzanne Ortiz is the Classified Rep. on this committee. 

ll.   Agenda Item    Faculty and Staff Evaluation Committee proposal to revise the PEP rules.                                              

            Sue Bloodsworth updated the Association on the proposal to revise the PEP rules.

            The proposal is to add two questions.

            Sue asked that every Classified member take a look at the form and give input to Sue    

            Bloodsworth or Suzanne Ortiz.      

lII:   Agenda Item: Use of Employee Vouchers by dependents and spouse

                                Suzanne researched to see what had previously been done on this issue. Lisa Buck

                                ACCCEA past president did take this issue before the ASC. At this point Gerry Tucker

                                is reviewing the economics.

IV:  Agenda Item: Appreciation presentation to Lisa Buck, ACCCEA immediate past President.

                               Lisa Buck was not available.

V:  Agenda Item:  SECC and Dollar Does it Fund Raising

Regina Schneider gave us an update on the Dollar Does it Campaign. The Association discussed the Campus Representatives setting up stations to take donations.  It was decided this would be discussed after the SECC Campaign was over at the end of the month.

Vl:  Agenda Item:  TRS and the economy-Our retirement money.

                                Judy Doyen gave an update on TRS and the effects of the economy.

                                There were concerns expressed by members of the Classified Association.

The meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
