2^nd Annual "Classified Luncheon with the President"

HBC Room 107 – 12:00 – 1:00 pm

 

Attending members signed in, picked up a lunch and ate and talked for a short while.

 

Judy Doyen introduced officers and reps. Donna Pitts showed off the new T-Shirts and reminded all that T-Shirt orders are still being taken.  The T-Shirts are being sold as a fund-raising effort for the Classified Scholarship Fund.

 

We recognized all previous hourlies who were now classified who attended  the meeting.

 

Tyshun Robinson gave a brief talk about the ACColades program.

 

Judy Doyen gave a FANTASTIC! Humorous Wardrobe Presentation highlighting the many ways that the Classified T-Shirts could be worn.

 

Judy Doyen introduced special guests, Dr. Fonte, and Gerry Tucker - presenting them with their new, official Classified T-Shirts.  Dr. Fonte and Gerry Tucker then donned their new T-Shirts.

 

President Doyen then presented Dr. Fonte with a book called "Trust."  Dr. Fonte talked and answered questions.

 

1.                  There will be stairs built behind HBC going to the Mall parking lot which has been approved for our parking needs.

2.                  Parking at all campuses is being discussed.

3.                  Food Services at all campuses (including HBC) is being discussed.

 

Millie Marquis concluded the meeting with a thank you to Dr. Fonte.

 

These are not "official minutes" since the meeting was not an "official business meeting".  These are a quick overview of what happened at the meeting.
