Download a video to your iPod using iTunes version 7.0
- Right click one of the videos listed in the Select A Video tab and save the video to a location on your computer.
- Connect your iPod to your computer and open the Apple iTunes application.
- In iTunes, select "File" > "Add File to Library." Browse for the video you downloaded, then click "Open."
- Select the "Movies" tab.
- Check the "Sync movies" box.
- Click "Apply."
Download a video to your iPod using iTunes version 6.0 or earlier
- Right click one of the videos listed in the Select A Video tab and save the video to a location on your computer.
- Connect your iPod to your computer and open the Apple iTunes application.
- In iTunes, select "File" > "Add File to Library." Browse for the video you downloaded, then click "Open."
- In iTunes, select "Edit" > "Preferences" > "iPod" > "Videos" > "Automatically update all videos." Click "OK" when you're done.
Once you've followed these steps, iTunes will automatically copy the video to your iPod. To play the video on your iPod, select "Videos" > "Movies."
Do I need an iPod to view the videos?
No, you can access the material in the following ways: (1) You can open the documents and read the narrative – click on documents tab, (2) You can view the videos on the web – click on video for web, or (3) You can download the videos to you iPod or other portable media player – click on video for download.
How do I download the videos to my iPod?

If I don’t have access to a computer can I still view the videos?
Yes, you can view the videos at the Austin Community College library or open computer labs. Make sure to bring a set of headphones so you can listen to the narrative.
What is the best way to use the videos?
The videos in the How to Study Accounting section should be viewed very early in the semester. The other videos correspond with specific chapters of your textbook. Ask your instructor if you need clarification.
The videos are not intended to be a substitute for reading the chapter, attending class, and working assignments. View the videos after you have studied the chapter, before you work on homework assignments or as part of an exam review.

Sheila Ammons, CPA, Professor – Sheila Ammons, CPA, Professor – Sheila has been teaching at Austin Community College since 1986. She teaches Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Governmental Accounting.
