Administrative Rules

In recognition of the dangers of primary and passive smoke to students, faculty and staff, Austin Community College prohibits:

• Smoking in all College buildings and at all College events; Smoking outdoors may not occur within 15 feet of building entrances;

• The sale of all tobacco products on campus;

• The advertising and distribution of tobacco products on campus; and

• The use of the college logo on smoking paraphernalia such as cigarette lighters, ashtrays and cases for smoking materials.
