Value Statement 

The Austin Community College District values academic excellence and will formally recognize those students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

Administrative Rule 

Scholastic achievement by students will be recognized by the College at the completion of each fall and spring semester by the: 

1.        President’s Honor Roll

A student who has completed twelve (12) or more semester-credit hours of college credit course work at Austin Community College, and who achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 for that semester will be eligible for nomination and inclusion in the President's Honor Roll. 

2.        Scholastic Excellence Roll

A student who has completed twelve (12) or more semester-credit hours of college credit course work at Austin Community College, and who achieved a GPA of 3.75 or above for that semester will be eligible for nomination and inclusion in the Scholastic Excellence Roll. 

3.        Scholastic Leadership Roll

A student who has completed twelve (12) or more semester-credit hours of college credit course work at Austin Community College, and who achieved a GPA of 3.50 or above for that semester will be eligible for nomination and inclusion in the Scholastic Leadership Roll. 

Notification of the achievement will appear on the student's grade report at the end of the semester and on his/her official ACC transcript.  A notation of the honor will appear on the diploma if the student's cumulative GPA upon graduation qualifies the student for a scholastic achievement award.
