Value Statement

The Austin Community College District believes that use of mentors for new faculty contributes to the effective integration of new faculty into ACC.

Administrative Rule

All new ACC faculty, both full-time and adjunct, shall be assigned a mentor during their first semester at ACC.  Any other faculty member may be assigned a mentor at the discretion of the Department Chair or upon the request of the faculty member.
