Value Statement
Remediation of basic skills deficiencies is essential for success in college credit courses. ACC will therefore monitor student compliance with developmental education requirements.
Administrative Rule
ACC’s Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Coordinator will monitor student participation in mandatory developmental education courses. Students enrolled in remediation on a mandatory basis will have the opportunity to transfer to an individualized program of instruction to complete the semester, as approved by the appropriate Department Chair.
