Value Statement

The Austin Community College District believes that effective teaching experience contributes to the enhanced learning experience of students, and should be recognized.

Administrative Rule

Upon the completion of two semesters of teaching at ACC, Adjunct Faculty shall receive one year of placement credit for each 15 LEH or credit hours of documented, post-secondary teaching experience obtained prior to employment by ACC.

At the beginning of each academic year, the Office of Human Resources shall remind Adjunct Faculty to submit evidence of prior post-secondary teaching experience.
