It is the policy of the College to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.  Qualified individuals with a disability may not be discriminated against in any aspect of employment.  Employment decisions shall be based on the ability of the individual to perform the job.  The College will provide “reasonable accommodations” to individuals with disabilities in accordance with ADA.

 

The Office of Human Resources will be responsible for developing procedures and guidelines for providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.  Training shall also be made available to supervisors and managers in the professional development program of the College.
