In recognition of the contributions of employees and our interest in the welfare of each employee, the Austin Community College District (“ACC” or “the College”) provides certain leave benefits to ensure that employees have time off to have a change from the work routine and/or to address personal or family concerns.
ACC provides a variety of paid and unpaid leave opportunities as part of the College’s benefit package to address employee needs.
ACC provides the following benefits for all staffing table positions:
Annual Leave (vacation)
Disability Leave Without Pay
Educational Leave Without Pay
Family & Medical Act Leave
Jury Duty Leave
Leave Without Pay
Volunteer Fire Fighter’s Emergency Leave
When an employee has used all leave in one category, other accrued leave must be used to keep the employee in a paid status. The use of all leave is subject to the conditions set forth governing the specific leave.
All leave used by employees of Austin Community College District must be reported by the employee in the College’s time reporting system. The immediate supervisor must approve all leave time in accordance with the specific leave requirements.
