Administrative Rules

Employees are authorized to take leave in accordance with approved leave as defined by the Administrative Rules of the College.

Unauthorized leave is defined as any absence from the workplace which is not in accordance with Administrative Rules or approved by the supervisor. An employee who takes unauthorized leave will be placed in unpaid status. Disciplinary action, up to and including termination, may be initiated if an employee takes unauthorized leave.

During the unauthorized absence, the employee will not accrue any type of leave and shall be responsible for any group insurance premiums due during the unauthorized leave.
