Annual Placement of Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct Faculty

Annual Placement Process Now in Progress

HR Compensation is conducting the annual placement process for the following qualifying adjunct faculty:

• Adjunct faculty who qualify for initial placement, having completed teaching one year of longevity (by teaching two semesters) in FY09.
• Adjunct faculty who have completed a PhD, EdD or JD in FY09.

 

No action is required by adjunct faculty who have already been placed on the salary scale and have not earned a higher degree this year.

Salary Placement is based on education and previous college-level teaching experience as the instructor of record.  Workforce positions (including Health Sciences) also include previous related work experience.  Faculty now qualifying for adjunct faculty initial placement or those completing a recent degree will need to submit forms that are located on the Annual Placement Process link of the HR Compensation web page.

Salary placement will be based on the information submitted supplemented by the original application for employment.
