Thank you for your service to the Austin Community College District, and for your commitment to excellence in teaching. ACC’s reputation for quality instruction is due to all of its faculty, and we hope you find your experiences here to be satisfying.

This can save you a great deal of time, and also help you better respond to the wide variety of student needs you will encounter. Also, the AFA website is a valuable resource with many links to the resources you may need.

ACC is a leader in the integration of adjunct faculty into the life of the College. While challenges exist, we are proud that our adjunct faculty salaries are the highest of all Texas community colleges, that many adjunct instructors also serve in other capacities within the College, and of the competence and dedication you bring to our students.

Last, ACC is fortunate to have a dynamic Adjunct Faculty Association which enhances communication among adjunct faculty, and with the administration of the College. I encourage you to be an active member.
