Sep 8th to Sep 30th — ACC 2nd Annual Constitution Day Art Exhibit Opens
Location: HBC Foyer
Time: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Exhibition for ACC’s 2nd Annual Constitution Day commences on September 8th and runs through September 30th. Constitution day, founded by the ACC Center for Public Policy and Political Studies in cooperation with the Social and Behavioral Sciences Division as well as the Arts and Humanities Division, challenges students and faculty alike to answer the question: “With reference to George Washington’s letter of September 17, 1787, addressed to the Articles of Confederation Congress, has the Constitution provided the necessary guidance for Americans in the generations since 1787?” Please visit the exhibition to see how individuals interpreted and responded to this question.

Featuring Dan Arellano, author of Tejano Roots and Rosa Davila, ACC Associate Professor of Spanish discuss Sun, Stone, Shadows: Cultural Connections in Texas and Mexico.

ACC’s The Big Read and the Mexican American Cultural Center present: Revolutions: Personal and Political featuring Austin actors Amparo Garcia Crow and Rupert Reyes reading stories from Sun, Stone, and Shadows with special guest Jorge F. Hernandez, editor of the anthology.
