International Fright Fest: Horror Films From Around the World

ACC Department of Foreign Languages Presents a Week of International Horror Films

The ACC Department of Foreign Languages in collaboration with the East Asian Culture Society, the ACC French Club, and the ACC Chaju Chinese Club present a week of international horror films in celebration of Halloween.

Horror films from around the world will be shown starting Monday, October 27th through Thursday, October 30th. This event is open to all students and faculty members.

This festival commences with Night Watch, a Russian feature on Monday, October 27th at 6 p.m. in the Northridge Campus Student Life Lounge, Room 1112.

The following night, Tuesday October 28th features three films, The Cut, a Korean film starting at 4:30 p.m., Hide and Seek, a Japanese feature beginning at 5 p.m., and A Tale of Two Sisters, another Korean feature starting at 6 p.m. All three films will be shown in the Riverside Auditorium, Building G, Room 8100 on the Riverside Campus of Austin Community College.

Wednesday night, October 29th, features two different films on two separate campuses. A French feature, Eyes Without a Face, will be shown in the Rio Grande Annex building, Room 254 on the Rio Grande Campus of Austin Community College at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., a Chinese feature Silk, will be shown in the Northridge Student Life Lounge, Room 1112 on the Northridge Campus of Austin Community College.

Thursday, October 30th, is the finale of the Fright Fest featuring two Spanish films, La Leyenda de la Nahuala (a Mexican Feature) starting at 6 p.m. and The Orphanage (A Spanish feature) beginning at 8 p.m., both shown in the Riverside Auditorium, Building G, Room 8100 on the Riverside Campus of Austin Community College.
