There are certain
guidelines, which we will follow:
1. Attendance is not required for online
classes, but it is extremely important that
you keep up with discussions and
writing deadlines. Plan to check into
our Blackboard class forum on a
regular basis.
2. Only one new paper submission can be
turned in at a time. More than one revision can be submitted at a time, however.
Turn in revisions promptly.
3. Intellectual interaction and discussion
about assigned essays is encouraged.
Feel free to share your
insights with the rest of the class on the Blackboard Discussion Board. Remember to show respect to others, especially
those expressing
views different from your own.
5. Papers are to be written and saved on a
computer disk or your hard drive since you will
be editing all submissions and resubmitting your papers to me after I have
reviewed
them. One double-spaced, typed page
with 1 margins all around at 12 pt. font will be considered 300 words.
6. The departmental syllabus (English
1301 Composition I Course Syllabus)
will be followed for grading
purposes; however, class assignments may vary according to my syllabus.
