Proposed Bastrop County Campus Sites

The Austin Community College District has entered into contracts for the purchase of land in Bastrop and Elgin. The Bastrop land consists of approximately 87 acres, located west of the center of Bastrop, fronting FM 304 south of SH 71. The Elgin property includes two parcels totaling 98 acres, adjacent to U.S. Highway 290 and County Line Road, with frontage on both roadways. ACC’s board-approved Master Plan includes the construction of comprehensive campuses in Bastrop ISD and Elgin ISD upon successful annexation elections.
