Course Learning Outcomes
The student will explain the various theories and processes of management including its functions; identify roles of leadership in business; and recognize elements of the communication process and the guidelines for organizational design. The Student will understand the impact of globalization and internationalization has upon the role and function of a manager. The student will interpret interpersonal roles related to work groups and demonstrate a knowledge of the basic language of management.

You will work towards obtaining and improving these skills in all your courses. By helping you develop the SCANS skills and holding your responsible for their application, your teacher will help you increase the likelihood of career success. These skills give you an added value in the labor market, because employers prefer to hire and promote individuals who posses them.
