We also suggest some background in Art History I or Art History II so you can explore the wide variety of art that is to be found. As always, we suggest consulting our Degree Plan to discover a blueprint for your courses here at Austin Community College.

Do I need to submit a portfolio of my work or audition to be admitted to the Department of Art? No. We want you to come as you are. Whether you have a body of work or have never done art before, we welcome any and all students.
