Students transferring from ACC
Course equivalency guides allow students and advisors to view how Austin Community College District courses transfer to specific four-year institutions. Some guides are specific to ACC courses, while others show equivalencies to Texas Common Course Numbers (TCCN).
The University Information page lists ACC equivalency guides by institution. Links will direct you to the institution's website or a downloadable PDF document.
If you do not find the equivalency guide for your intended school, use the Common Course Numbers matrix to view equivalencies between TCCN and institutions not listed, including other community colleges.
View TCCNS searchable matrix to compare institution's courses.

Students transferring credit to ACC
Be aware that ACC doesn't always consider the course equivalent if the same course is transferred to ACC. This is especially true for private institutions and when semester credit hours differ.
Course equivalency guides indicate which courses transfer from ACC to four-year institutions. To determine which courses transfer to ACC, submit an official transcript and request a transcript evaluation at any ACC Admissions office.
Transcripts are officially evaluated once a student enrolls in courses at ACC. We recommend meeting with an advisor if you have additional questions about course transferrability prior to registration.
