Admission Requirements for Transfer Students:

Admissions requirements and application for Kansas State University (both on-campus and online) can be found at this link: http://consider.k-state.edu/admissions/

Specifically for those in the General Business 2+2, students must have completed 45 credit hours of the College of Business Administration's pre-professions program (BAPP) and have an overall 2.3 GPA are eligible to apply for admission. The application fee is $30.

Transfer Credit Information:

Kansas State University will accept up to 63 credit hours from the community college toward the bachelor’s degree. Unlimited hours may transfer, but only the most applicable 63 credit hours are applied to the Bachelor’s degree. Grading:

The GPA at the Community College must be higher than 2.0 for general university admission requirements. Only the credit hours transfer, not the grade. Admission into the General Business degree program requires a GPA of 2.3 or higher and student must have C’s or better in the Business related classes.

Special Programs Unique to Your School:

For students coming to Kansas State University campuses in Kansas, there are 9 colleges offering over 250 different majors in the following areas: Agriculture, Architecture, Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Human Ecology, Technology and Aviation, and Veterinary Medicine.

For students unable to relocate to Kansas, Kansas State University offers six B.S. degrees through distance education for students residing outside of Kansas. Besides General Business, a student could also earn an online degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Dietetics, Interdisciplinary Social Science and Technology Management. In addition, there are 13 Master’s Degree programs that can also be completed online.
