Admission Requirements for Transfer Students:
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Typically at least four years of full-time work experience or at least 24 years old

Transfer Credit Information:
St. Edward’s will accept up to 66 hours of credit, from a community college. Students must complete their last 30 hours and at least half of their major coursework at St. Edward’s University.
Students are encouraged to get a preliminary degree plan prior to admission by attending an information session or meeting with an admission coordinator.
Grading:
SEU will only accept grades of "C" or above for consideration of transfer credits. We also accept repeated coursework and take the GPA on the institution's transcript.

New adult learners at St. Edward’s are eligible to apply for New College Tuition Assistance after admitted by completing the application at the following link:

New College students are also given the option of three different payment plans:
- Employer deferred payment plan (EDPAY)
- Third-party billing
- Monthly Arranged Payment Plan (MAPP)
St. Edward’s also welcomes those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and provides specialized support such as a VA benefits representative and a Student Veterans Group.
Special Programs Unique to This School:
New College - Adult Program
The New College undergraduate program is for adults, over the age of 24, who have typically worked full-time for four years or more. This program offers evening, weekend, and online courses, an additional campus in North Austin, and, work/life experience that translates into course credit.
