Transfer Credit Information:

There is no maximun number specified by the university, but we have residence requirement that must be satisfied prior to graduation. A minimun of 36 semester hours of 300-400 level corusework, with a minimun of 12 hours in the major, must be completed at Texas A&M to qualify for the baccalaureate degree.

Grading:

Do "D's" transfer? Do transfer courses that are repeated both count towards admission requirements or does only second or higher grade count? D's will transfer but are damaging. Repeated coursework is averaged together in the computation of the GPR

Various scholarships available, including transfer scholarship for students with an associate’s degree or 60 transferable credits. Awards vary from $500 to $1,000 and are based on academic achievement at the community college.
