The Austin Space Aces!
The Austin Community College Microgravity Experiment Group
Hello and welcome to the homepage for The Austin Space Aces. Look around the
site and see what we're up to! This spring, we hope to be in Houston
at the Johnson Space
Center and Ellender
Field testing our device in NASA's Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities
Program to see if we can make a positive difference in America's space program. We feel
that we can do a lot of good science with the resources we have, and we look
forward to getting a chance to show it this spring.
We're
committed to bringing about positive change in both the world of science and
the world of education. After completing out flight test objectives in Houston, our job will
only be beginning. When the Houston phase of the
project is completed, we will be visiting Austin's
local schools, libraries, and the Science and Nature Center
and other youth groups to share our experiences and hopefully inspire a younger
generation of students to look to NASA for innovation and leadership and show
them how they can get involved in such an exciting field.
