In January, 2009 the Building Construction Technology Department hosted two days of interactive woodworking demonstrations by Lie-Nielsen Toolworks, Inc., the Homestead Heritage School of Woodworking, and Bridge City Toolworks.

The Homestead Heritage School of Woodworking, shows how to create a dovetail joint with hand tools.

The Homestead Heritage School of Woodworking, shows how to add an inlay to a piece of wood (a picture frame) using hand tools.
