Starting point for the roofing class - a short wall frame
4 ft wall frame for roofing class
First the ceiling joists are added
wall frame with ceiling joists added


Then the roof rafters are cut and added individually

Students make a "bird's mouth" cut in each rafter where it rests on the top plate.
