SUBJECT: Financial Advisor Services Contract

That the Board of Trustees authorizes staff negotiate a contract with Coastal Securities as Financial Advisor. The contract period will be for a three- (3) year period, beginning approximately May 4, 1999, with two (2) one-year options to extend.

This item is consistent with Board Policy C-10, Purchasing.

The current Financial Advisor Services Contract with Coastal Securities expires April 30, 1999. A Request for Proposal was issued on March 30, 1999. Twelve (12) RFPs were mailed to vendors. Request for Proposal were received from five (5) vendors.

None, the funds required to cover the contract are deducted from bond sale proceeds.
