SUBJECT: Learning Resource Center Expansion - Pinnacle Campus

RECOMMENDATION
That the Board amend the 1999 Capital Improvement Program to include $50,000 to remodel expansion space for the Learning Resource Center at the Pinnacle Campus.

RELATED BOARD POLICY OR BOARD PLANNING PRIORITY
This item is consistent with Strategic Planning Directive 2: Provide adequate facilities for the six campuses and the Highland Business Center.

RATIONALE
The Pinnacle Campus has experienced growth in enrollment in the current academic year. Remodeling the current space from 3,330sf to 5,028sf and expanding will allow the LRS to provide book stack space, study carrels, and computer stations.

BUDGETARY CONSIDERATION
Funds were identified for this project from the 1999 Budget Surplus.
