SUBJECT: Consideration of Report from Citizens' Advisory Committee

PROPOSED ACTION
That the Board of Trustees adopt the proposed resolution endorsing the recommendations from the report presented to the Board on 6/21/99.

RELATED BOARD POLICY
This report was in response to a Board resolution establishing the committee and providing its charge. The proposed resolution would constitute the "community priorities plan" called for in section [4] of policy A-4.

RATIONALE
The proposed resolution would endorse the report and mandate its use in College planning. It would also express thanks to committee members and support staff.

BUDGET CONSIDERATION
Compliance with the recommendations of the CAC report would require a substantial increase in resources. This topic will be considered in more detail at subsequent meetings.
