RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of Trustees hears a report on the College's Learning Labs
and Campus-Based Tutoring.
RATIONALE:
Learning Labs are one of ACC's critical student retention resources. The
Learning Labs offer a wide variety of tutoring services and other learning
programs which help students master course content. Faculty task forces and
program coordinators work closely with Learning Lab Managers to ensure
compatibility of materials and lab procedures with objectives of the
disciplines. As the College continues its Master Planning process, it is
appropriate to focus attention on the Learning Labs.
