SUBJECT: Dialogue With Advisory Committees for Workforce
Areas.
PROPOSED ACTION:
That
the Board of Trustees discuss ACC’s Workforce Programs in Applied Technologies,
Multimedia and Public Services.
RELATED BOARD POLICY OR
PLANNING PRIORITY:
Policy E-1, Master Planning, E-2, Facilities Planning and C-6, College-Community Linkages call for Board consideration of strategic plans for the College. Policy A-1, College Ends calls for the Board to identify, based on its assessment of community needs, its priorities among programs which require significant subsidy.
RATIONALE:
As part of its Master Plan development, the Board is hosting dialogues with community and business leaders in Applied Technologies, Multimedia and Public Services. A subsequent dialogue focusing in the areas of Computer Studies and Advanced Technology will follow at a later date.

None.
