SUBJECT: Dialogue: Social Equity Commission Report/Role of ACC

RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board of Trustees discuss the Social Equity Commission's Report, and possible implications for ACC.

RELATED BOARD POLICY OR PLANNING PRIORITY
This item is consistent with Board Policy E-1: Master Planning, and C-6: College-Community Linkages.

RATIONALE: ACC is engaged in updating its Comprehensive Master Plan. The role of the community college is to respond to community needs; therefore, it is appropriate for the College to consider issues related to accessibility to higher education and training.

BUDGETARY CONSIDERATIONS
None.
