Board-Community Communication
In addition to the citizens' communications section of each Board meeting and the involvement of individual trustees in other community organizations and direct discussions with constituents, various activities that provide opportunities for the communication between the Board and the general and College communities are coordinated by the Vice-Chair of the Board.
Examples of such activities include:
- Community Dialogs, in which a portion of a Board meeting is spent meeting with community representatives.
- Participation of Trustees in
College or community events as representatives of the Board.

- Field trips by Board members to view community or College sites.
- Board advisory committees such as the Advisory Committee on Budget and Finance
