The Board adopts a set of policy-development topics as part of its annual work plan, and conducts a comprehensive review of its policies every two years. Suggested policy changes may be directed to any Trustee or to the College President.
Policy development activities are coordinated by the Board Chair. The policies on Board Policy Principles and Policy Development and Revision give more details on the policy model used at the College.
Note that Board actions focus on providing strategic direction to the College, not detailed rules to guide college operations. These are developed through the College President/CEO.
