Welcome to my web page. My name is Brendan Rogers and I am an adjunct assistant professor of psychology at Austin Community College. I teach Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 2301) and Human Growth and Development (PSYC 2314). My office locations and hours are located on the right side of this page. You will need a pen and/or pencil and paper for taking notes. You will also need to bring a scantron (green - Form No. 882-E) for each of your exams. You can purchase these at any ACC bookstore.

Interests
My main interests are music, psychology and reading.
I enjoy most topics relating to clinical psychology and have a strong interest in Albert Ellis's Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT).
I have a decent vinyl collection and enjoy artists such as Bob Dylan, Skip James, T-Bone Walker, The Band, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Zombies, Badfinger, The Smiths and Radiohead. I play piano, bass, electric jug and guitar in a few local bands. You can catch me playing live with The Alice Rose, Acid Tomb, Planet Rye Co and/or The Battlemen. I am currently learning to play the Theremin.
A few of my favorite books are The Brothers Karamazov, Walden, and The Right Stuff.
I'm married and my wife and I have two dogs named Angie and Duke.
Education
I have my bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
