Full Time Administrative Assistant Intern needed in North Austin area.

We are looking for a forward thinker to assist upper management in day-to-day activities, coordinate meetings as well as anticipate travel/mobilization needs statewide.

The ideal candidate MUST:
-Be proficient in Microsoft Office
-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Possess confidence
-Be a problem solver
-Be able to anticipate upper management needs
-Possess superior organizational and time management skills
-Must have high school diploma, valid driver’s license and working vehicle

Administrative tasks will include organizing meetings, preparing subject material for meetings, creating spreadsheets/editing in-house data base, planning and organizing statewide travel for upper management. This is an hourly job with compensation ranging from $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

The duties for this clerical position include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, transcribing dictation, and filing, running office/client related errands and other duties attendant to the position. Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant office experience, be proficient with current business office related computer programs and software, have excellent professional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently, problem solve effectively and be detail oriented. Applicants must type at least 70 wpm and a test will be given to all qualified applicants. Applicants should also have their own vehicle, a current driver’s license and valid insurance and be prepared to produce a current DPS driving record, if requested.
