Known throughout A&E CAD as The CAD Diva, Ashleigh Fuller approaches life in an enjoyable and unconventional manner. Before embarking on her journey at ACC, Ashleigh worked with an Oil & Gas company in Houston assisting architects and interior designers facilitate build-outs and new office designs. Ashleigh moved to Austin with the intention of pursuing a degree in Interior Design, but after enrolling in A & E CAD's Drafting 1405 class, she realized her true calling. During her second semester in the formerly named Engineering Design Graphics department (EDG), Ashleigh accepted a part-time position as Manager of ACC's Premier Autodesk Training Center, which offers continuing education CAD classes. Upon completing her A.A.S. degree in 2001 with a concentration in Architecture from A & E CAD, Ashleigh continued her education at the University of Texas and received a B.A. degree in Art History, with a specialization in Pre-Conquest Mesoamerican Art in 2005. In teaching DFTG 1405 and DFTG 2419, Ashleigh is able to offer her students a unique viewpoint having experienced life herself as a student within the Department. Ashleigh is fluent in sign-language and has been known to interpret for hearing impaired students when an interpreter is not available. In her spare time Ashleigh and her husband enjoy music, traveling, camping and tubing down the Guadalupe.
