Bob Carhart spent 4 years in the US Air Force before attending Drexel University, in Philadelphia, PA, where he received his BS in chemical engineering. He then worked for twenty years in PCB and chip carrier manufacturing and process development, ISO 9000, experimental design, and statistical process controls at IBM, Texas Instruments, & Raytheon before deciding on a career change.
After graduating from ACC's Interdisciplinary Program on the President’s Honor Roll he became adjunct professor in 2002.
Bob is currently employed full-time at the Internal Revenue Service Center in South Austin.
