Bill Casnovsky joined the A&E CAD Department in the fall of 2006 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor where he teaches SolidWorks Mechanical Design Software to students seeking a Mechanical CAD Specialization.
Bill earned his degree in Industrial Design from Michigan State University. In the early years of his career, he held corporate design staff positions at Motorola & Lockheed/Martin. Currently, Bill provides Product & Mechanical Design Services doing business as CAZ DEZIGN. Bill is a long term member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and also, serves as Group Leader of the local Central Texas SolidWorks User Group (CTSUG).
In his spare time, Bill loves racing his sailboat (Banshee) as a Senior Member in the Austin Yacht Club.
