Brian Singletary was born in Great Falls Montana and raised in North Carolina. After high school, he enrolled in the Electronic Computer Programming Institute in Virginia.
Following graduation, he interviewed with IBM and landed a job as a Card Test Technician in their Manufacturing facility in Boca Raton, Florida. Six years later he moved into Engineering working on Thermal, EMC, Acoustic and Vibration test and analysis. Three years later he moved into Printed Circuit Board Design. In 1996, he went back to school to get a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. In 2000 he worked as a first Level Packaging Engineer designing processor substrates.
In A&E CAD, Brian has taught Introduction to Printed Circuit Board Design since 2003.
