Our learning center was founded in 1989 by two visionary Austin Community College faculty members who wished to provide state-of-the art CAD training for area professionals. The AutoCAD Training Center, as we were originally known, offered daytime and evening AutoCAD training workshops. Since then, we have expanded our course offerings to include training in many other CAD applications from numerous software vendors.

Today we are known as Austin's CAD Learning Center. We have trained thousands of students in our state-of-the-art facilities, co-located with the Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design department on the second floor of Building 3000 at the Northridge Campus of Austin Community College.

Each student works at an individual workstation for the duration of each class. Students receive an ACC certificate of completion for each class completed. In addition, students also receive continuing education units (CEU’s), which are required by many professional licensing associations, including the American Institute of Architects and Registered Professional Land Surveyors.

All of our courses are instructor-led courses in a formal classroom setting. Our faculty and staff of knowledgeable professionals have many years of experience in industry and in teaching.
