| Course Description |
This course covers civil engineering drafting principles and applications using a dynamic model based approach. Topics include: exchanging civil design data, surface modeling and analysis, site development, grading, road design, subdivision land planning, utility design and production drafting. |

This course is intended to give students workforce skills in the CAD field.

- Lectures introduce new material.
- Exercises allow the instructor to lead students through the material the first time.
- Projects provide opportunities for students to practice with the new tools on their own.

At the completion of this course, the student will have demonstrated the ability to:
Apply knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software functionality.
Distinguish basic principles of Surveying and Engineering Design.
